Covered Playground Area – Clubhouse / Community Center


How can I reserve the playground for a party?
No reservations. It is first come, first serve. You are expected to clean up all trash and the area upon leaving.

Is alcohol allowed at the playground?

Use of alcohol is strictly prohibited in the park area.

Architectural

What types of exterior modifications can I make to my home without requiring approval of the association?
 All exterior modifications or improvements should be approved through the community association’s architectural control process. Please complete the architectural request form on TownSq.

Where do I find my community's architectural modification request form?
The architectural request form is under Tools in TownSq.

What's the process for submitting the application? How long does it take to get approval?
Once the application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Architectural Review Board. This committee of volunteer homeowners is tasked by the Board of Directors to review each submission to ensure it complies with the association’s architectural guidelines. A response may take up to 30 days from the date of submission. Please provide as much information as possible to avoid delays.

What is the status of my application?
If you have not heard from the Architectural Review Board within 30 days from the date of submission, please submit a request via TownSq.

How do I find out when the next Board meeting takes place?
Board meeting dates and times are typically posted in the News and Events section of TownSq. If you have registered your email address, you will also receive meeting details by email.

Where can I find copies of the most recent meeting minutes?
Meeting minutes are posted in the Documents section of TownSq.


Common Area Maintenance


What does the Association maintain and what am I responsible for maintaining?

Homeowners are responsible for maintaining their property, fences, landscaping, and all exterior structures.

I need to report a maintenance issue in a common area.
Please submit a request via TownSq and include a photo and as much detail as possible. You can track the status of your request through TownSq.

What is the trash/waste pick-up schedule for my community?
 Monday and Thursday – Trash
 Wednesday – Recycling
 Thursday – Bulk pickup

How do I get electric/gas/water/trash service?
Please contact the City of Midlothian for water and trash service.

For gas and electricity, please reach out to a provider of your choosing.

How do I get a mailbox key?
Contact your local United States Post Office for instructions or contact a locksmith if your home was purchased as a resale.


Compliance


I just received a violation notice. Who can I talk to about it?
Covenant violation questions can be directed to our Compliance Department at compliance@goodwintx.com. Additional contact information is on your notice.

I need to report an issue with a neighbor's home.
Submit a request via TownSq and include a photo and as much detail as possible.

When does your compliance driver come through our community?
Schedules vary, but drivers typically visit on a bi-weekly basis. Spot inspections are also conducted.

Is there a list of do’s and don’ts for my tenant?
A copy of the community’s governing documents can be found at www.goodwintx.com using the “Find My Community” tool.

Can I pay my assessment with a credit/debit card?
Yes, through TownSq. Credit card payments include a $1.50 fee plus 3.5% of the total.
E-check payments include a $1.50 fee.

Annually on January 1st.

Why does my account show a negative number?
A negative balance means you have a credit.

I received a past due letter. Who can I talk to?

Email delinquencies@goodwintx.com.

What is my assessment paying for?
Operating expenses such as utilities, landscaping, amenities(gates), streets, insurance, and other common area maintenance.

How do I register?

  1. Visit https://app.townsq.io/ais/sign-up
  2. Enter your account number and ZIP code
  3. Provide your email and create a password
